I got this postcard from my good friend Janet  when she was in the States a month ago.

This is what she wrote  at the back:

Thinking about you from Colorado Springs– Peter and Janet

That was so sweet of her!  You can visit Janet’s blog at The Travel Diva.

Just a little trivia about Colorado Springs from wikianswers.com:

  • It is the tallest State,
  • It is tallest only because both California and Alaska with excellent mountain ranges are cursed by the presence of so much shoreline.
  • It has over 50 mountains above 14,000 feet in elevation.
  • With only 12 to 18 inches of rainfall per year it has an abundance or irrigated land because of natural and manmade reservoirs that provide the irrigation water and the drinking water for Arizona and much of Southern California.
  • It is divided only by artifical boundaries and bot those provided by earth’s contour, rivers and terrain.
  • It is and remains beautiful.
So that’s about Colorado Springs– and I must say, I cannot help but sing, “Rocky mountains high… in Colorado. …”  I used to sing that as a little girl because my dad loved country music so much! So yeah, I sang that when I received this postcard, too! Haha!
